In Grenoble.. French Alps

Chorescence has been offering classes and worshops in contact improvisation and related practices as well as a weekly jams since April 2005. Please check the program below.The growing community will be happy to recieve your visits.. In this website you will find information in English about the workshops, the classes, the jams in each related pages.

Some workshops take place in the city, most intensives and some week-end workshops take place in the moutains nearby (St Andéol).

Where is Grenoble?

In the French Alps, 1,5 hour East from Lyon, 1,5 hour South from Geneve.

· 11th/16th June 08 : A full CI week-end event to celebrate the 36th birthday of contact improvisation should happen! It will be a satellite event to the major one that will happen in the States (cf ci36.com) . Il will be aslo the 30th birthday of contact improvisation in France! It will be preceded with a performance day and 2 days of CI teacher meeting (in French!)

· Once a month, the jam is introduced with a guided warm up and starts at 5.30 pm

· The Arrosoir (='the watering can') is a monthly workshop, that has been created to encourage people to discover

· various improvisation dance techniques and approaches

· It is coordinated by NADIR, CHORESCENCE and  ABC Danse
