The Compagny Chorescence
Offers work founded on the spirit of contact improvisation. Founded by Isabelle ÜSKI in 2005, it first developped around workshops, performances and jams and became a important ressource place in France for contact Improvisation and Instant Composition. It now offers set work streching the spirit of contact improvisation, experimenting new ways of meeting between matters, arts disciplines or individuals.
Contact improvisation in Grenoble
After 10 years of intense practice within Chorescence, a new association has been created to host some of the CI activities in Grenoble. The 1001 Spirals is now producing events such as the FESTIVAL ‘1001’ or our regular Sunday jams that were for many years produced within Chorescence.
