We all have habits and tendencies in the way we interact with others in the dance. What happens if we take time to give them more awareness and to visit in a systematic manner their opposite or complementary states? This workshop offer to explore the range of states we can reach in the dance in their extreme and opposite forms. If we mention the concepts of ‘Yin and Yang’, it will not because of a genuine Eastern body approach, but because we will use them to find flexibility and relativity in the way we distinguish and describe the states we will visit. We will visit states related to things such as volition and letting go, self confidence and fragility, chaos and clarity, flow and obstacles etc... This workshop will also be influenced by Laban Analysis of Movement and will in someway refer to the feminine and masculine sides we all have inside us.

Three days to explore extreme and complementary states: a opportunity to know more about ourselves and to open new possibilities in the states or places we find in our dances, in our danced relationships, and maybe elsewhere in our lives..
