Intensive workshop in ST Andeol, a beautiful studio located in the montains 45 km from Grenoble.
surround us and the spaces we create. This attention will help us to deepen our relation to Nature. It will open other spaces and nurture our awareness and creativity while dancing in relationship. We will mostly work inside the studio in the morning: still focusing on spaces with tools and journeys that will lead us into contact improvisation. Playing in spaces that we give shape to, constantly doing them and undoing them. Playing in the spherical space that contact impro opens. These tools, partly inspired by Laban-Bartenieff approach, will help us to find lightness and flow in the dance but also in the relationship to ourself, to our partner, to the unknown. Afternoon will alternatively be spent inside and outside. Deepening our relationship to Nature will help us to find a state of improvisation. Contact impro will then be a tool among others. On Nature, we will look for support and resources. It will help us find a pure and simple state of presence. It will also help us to know and master the fears that can subtlety overwhelm us while improvising. The space should then open even more and let us taste and play with what is already here and now in the dance.
