2/3 juin WE Feeling and Form**

With Michael Shachrur

somatic movement and improvisation workshop inspired by BMC and Chi Gong

** experience  is recommanded

Exploring the Connection of Shape to Internal Feeling/ Energy Flow and to the Relationship with Self, Space and Others

The way we form our body and especially our hands creates an internal experience that is also a relationship to space and a communication to others.
We hold space with our body. The yogic concept of 'mudra' and the common concept 'gesture' relate to this closely.

More specifically to this weekend: flexion and extension combine with internal and external rotation to create two basic complementary relations and pathways within the limbs, from the core out to the world and from the world back to the core via the limbs. The central theme in this workshop will involve exploring the energetic flow/dynamic, feeling expression and movement qualities of the two basic organizing patterns and their involvement in human gestures and actions.
We will explore improvisationaly and practice simple as well as more challenging movement sequences and see how these basic organizing principles create a richness of possibilities. We will constantly apply this in contact and in open improvisation and take lots of time for dancing.
